I'm an open source engineer born in 1983 and working from Maxwell to Node.js while loving to think I understand QED. I love figuring out how things work and decoding the abstractions that give us such a fantastic opportunity to live.

I'm also up for discussion on most any philosophical subject from Dawkins to Jesus and back around to Terence McKenna, but never to skirt Confucius, D.T. Suzuki, Alan Watts or even Erich Fromm. I enjoy decoding history to find the real story, not the pretty picture. I truly believe we are all fundamentally saying the same thing and the only real evil is those who maintain the knowledge gap for personal gain.

The book with my highest recommendation for others who come from my part of the world is Propaganda written by Jacques Ellul in 1962. As it is out of copyright, you can download a free PDF to read, but I still have passion for hardcopy in text.

I am a student of language, I enjoy Noam Chomsky, and I desire to learn all that I will in this field. I currently speak english (mother tounge) and spanish as a 2nd language, to an extent that I am improving daily.

I travel, do a bit of sailing on Striker and a number of board sports. I spend most of my time with my girlfriend Minda and my 2 dogs Baltimore and Heidi.

The internet has proven to be the best tool for learning in my endeavours, Khan Academy, Stanford and MIT lectures are fantastic and free. There's a wealth of information in a format ready to download to your brain if you look.

I write open source software and build open source machines. I maintain a number of Github repositories for both my personal projects and tools I develop for Cobianet, a company I founded in 2005.

To reach me just take my last name, then prepend my first name, and send me an email @ Google's email service. I always want to meet those that want to meet face to face.
